The best travel destination with DMZ : Mt. Gamak suspension bridge

 #dmz #dmzseoul #dmzseoultour

Korea's spring (March to April) is very beautiful. The weather is cool, so it's perfect for hiking. I recommend somewhere to do small hike an hour away from Seoul.

It is Mt. Gamaksan Suspension Bridge. #Gamaksan Suspension Bridge is a 150-meter mountain suspension bridge that harmonizes with nature.

There is a valley, and the waterfall which is called Ungye Falls. The water falls almost vertically which is the pride of Gamaksan Mountain.

In winter, it shows magnificient view with ice wall.

Mountain Gamaksan is close to the armistice line, so it's good to go there in connection with DMZ tours.

There are tiny sculptures on the way to bridge all over Gamaksan Mountain, so the road is full of things look around and not boring at all.

You can walk about 10 minutes to the suspension bridge, and when you see it with your own eyes, you will b amazed and surprised by the huge scale and its beauty. It is safe for 900 people with a weight of 70kg to pass at the same time on the hanging bridge. When it comes to earthquake, also it is totally safe because it was designed earthquake-resistant with a magnitude of 7.

The view from a height of 45m is very breathtaking, and on the left, you can see Beomryunsa Buddhist Temple and the waterfall very clearly in all around the seasons.

If you come across the other side, there is a shelter where is a sign indicating that this is the place that prevented the Chinese invasion during the Korean War.

You should also visit Ungye Falls. It's a mountain path, but it's not difficult because it's well flattened.

In addition to the DMZ tour, I recommend to visit Gamaksan Mountain Suspension Bridge located nearby DMZ as well.
