Sharing the DMZ + Mt.Gamaksan Tour Review (received from Oscar)

Greetings!

I am happy to share this with you that our tour has received such a wonderful review.

[DMZ + Mt.Gamaksan Suspension Bridge One Day Tour from Seoul]

Hi my name is Oscar,

DMZ tour was one of the best experiences I had in my short 7 day trip.

The only meh I found it’s that the tour company should reconsider go getting some ice cream at winter.

Now, the tour guide Julie was amazing, I myself am a solo traveler and I did find a pretty hard time at Korea to make some friends but the DMZ tour came in perfect for it, not only the guide invited the solo travellers to get some food, we even took pictures together.

I highly recommend asking Julie to get some shots for you, she is really good! Also, the weather at the tour was actually perfect we had clear view at Dora Obsetvatory and snow came cracking down the sky at the suspension bridge, which gave me and the other members some unforgettable views. 😭

Thank you Julie for the amazing time and Sam, Charles, Rowell. I hope to see you some other time and get some more amazing moments. ✨

I'm rather overjoyed to hear that it's the best experience of my 7 day trip. Thanks Oscar!

Through this review, I feel rewarded that our tour is becoming the joy of many people!

As you said, Julie is such an amazing guide!
Of the many guides on our PLK Travel, I think Julie is the most passionate lovely guide!

Looking at the beautiful snow-covered picture of Gamaksan Mountain you took makes me smile.
I'm glad that I enjoyed the winter in Korea properly!

I recommend our tour to you guys who want to enjoy Korea properly like Oscar!

Why did the DMZ appear on the Korean Peninsula?

Do you know the only divided country in the world?

The Republic of Korea (South Korea) and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) on the Korean Peninsula.

[Half-day DMZ Essential Tour from Seoul]

With the end of World War II on August 15, 1945, with Japan's unconditional surrender, the Korean Peninsula was freed from its colony, but it only briefly tasted the joy of liberation, and it was put in a more complex crisis.

During the Cold War, the Korean Peninsula, which was at the forefront of the liberal and communist camps, was divided by the establishment of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on August 15, 1948, with the support of the United States, and the establishment of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on September 9, 1948, with the support of the Soviet Union and China on the north.

After that, North Korea started the Korean War on June 25, 1950, to unify the Korean Peninsula with communism.

The war, which lasted for three years, ended on July 27, 1953, when the Armistry Agreement was signed, and the Korean Peninsula was finally divided, not unified.

This resulted in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) being a demilitarized zone created by promising to retreat the two countries' armed forces north and south, each 2 km long and 153 km wide, around the Military Demarcation Line

In addition to the political meaning of being the only divided country in the world, it is also an important place for academic research on ecosystems as nature is well preserved due to access control.

Don't you want to see for yourself the only divided nation in the world?

Don't be disappointed that you can't go because it's not an easy place to go personally.

This tour is the easiest and safer way to enjoy the DMZ than anyone else.

You can feel the vivid tension that you can't see anywhere else, such as Imjingak, Third Tunnel, Doggae Bridge, etc.

And our expert guide will explain historical facts in an interesting way.

For those who don't want to go to the DMZ only, there is also a tour where you can go to great tourist spots around you.

Today's Gamaksan & DMZ (with snow)

If you like snow among those traveling in Korea, I would definitely recommend winter.

It's a beautiful winter just by the snow falling,

It's even more beautiful if you can enjoy the snowy landscape together in a nice place.

Maybe because it snowed a lot today, Gamaksan Mountain is more beautiful.

I really wanted to show you the snow-covered Gamaksan Mountain.

DMZ also had a lot of snow.
You can also see North Korea covered with snow.
Don't you want to experience these things for yourself?
Beautiful scenery, tense DMZ!
It's a little hard to go personally, but all of this is possible through our tour.
Our professional guide with a lot of know-how will be responsible for your safety and fun.

How to enjoy both the traditional and modern night view of Seoul.

Let me introduce you to the tour where you can enjoy the most Korean night view that blends Korean traditional beauty with neon signs.

[Seoul Night Tour]

Naksan Park is often used as a filming location for dramas due to its good scenery.

Enjoy the night view of Seoul by walking along the fortress of the 1.5km trail along the Hanyang Wall

We can't leave out delicious food on a fun trip.

You can taste Korean marketplace food at Gwangjang Market, Korea's first permanent market with a 100-year history.

There are various types of pancakes, gimbap, and japchae, so don't worry if you're worried.

The guide recommends it according to your preference.

Changgyeonggung Palace, one of the four ancient palaces in Seoul, is the most exotic palace.

There is Korea's first greenhouse designed in Western architecture

You can see exotic beauty through the combination of East and West.

Changgyeonggung Palace is a beautiful place, but it is full of sad history behind its beautiful appearance.

Our guide will be interesting to tell the detailed stories of this place.

Cheonggyecheon is a rest area in the city center that is 10,84km long

The calm sound of water relaxes the mind, and the lights reflect on the water surface and sparkle like flowers.

Because of such a romantic atmosphere, it is an essential dating course for lovers.

If you're lucky, you can see Lotus Lantern Festival (May) and Lantern Festival (December) at Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Don't miss the opportunity to experience all these places at once!

For those who want a more active tour,

For those who want to understand Korea better, I recommend the DMZ tour
